Abrys blog post was about alergies or other reaction as it is derived from its greek roots. His post talk about the reaction that happens within the body when it becomes allergic to something. He talks about how Immunoglobulin or IgE is in the human blood stream. It is the reason that the body has reactions with the allergens. He also mentions that IgE has positive effects for the body such as it helps it resist lyme desease.
Hunter payne had very introspective view on thanksgiving. His tryptophan article was one of the best around. He was insightful on the many uses of the chemical such as an antidepressant. It acts directly with the central nervous system. Tryptophan is classified as an amino acid and is best taken with insulin such as fruit juice. This tactic increases the chemicals therapeutic uses.
Sarah huffman compared artificial sweeteners to sugar. Aspartame is a type of artificial sweetener and has many negative effects on the body. It is found in diet coke and can lead to hypoglycemia which is a low blood sugar attack. In studies with rats it produced tumors. Saccharin has negative effects on pregnant women and children. It makes the milk go bad!!!

How does growth hormones effect our cows?
Cows these days have growth homone injected into them and they can be seen in the cows' meat and their milk. The cows are injected with rBGH or recombinant bovine growth hormone. This hormone was found to be in two thirds of the cows slaughtered last year. This hormone leads to higher milk production and more beef in the cows but is it healthy for human consumption.
rBGH is a genetically engineered hormone that is injected into the cows. It is produced under the commercial name of Posalic and was approved by the FDA in 1993 despite some controversy. Skeptics of the hormone claim that there was no proper testing of the hormone and that the FDA relied solely on the tests that Monsanto, the production company, ran on lab rats. Before approval, there was no long term test for the hormone on cows. There are reports that the hormone may kill cows from mastitis which is an infection of the utter. The hormone actually decreases the cows' original production if they stop injecting it.
The hormone increases the IGF-1 or insulin growth factor-1 levels in the cow which is linked to prostate, breast and colon cancer in humans. This increases the cancer rate in the cows with in turn would lower the level of the beef and dairy. There is no test to prove that the IGF-1 leads to high cancer risk with consumption through the meat or dairy of a rBGH cow.
Chemistry is needed to understand this to understand the reaction that takes place. Without our knowledge that reactions lead to other reactions we would not fully comprehend that the rBGH leads to the release of the IGF-1 which causes cancer.

Growth Hormones
I started my research on HGH or human growth hormone and then moved to the topic of growth hormones in cows. They use the hormones in the cows to increase the milk yield. It can create problems with the cows and has be hypothesized to cause cancer. I will talk about how the hormones work in the body such as secretion methods and how the hormones then effect the body.

Mrs Osman is the grand mother from this show. im am convinced they based this show off of her life. this show has been syndicated on namely TBS. this is a good station for many shows. it will give you sex and the city, and many different movies that really were not that good but are good enough for tv. I look forward to the many interesting and crazy things that TBS brings to the table

trans fats are the number one problem in the world. everyone is talking about the war and the economy. i got that under control. fat kids are eating trans fats people. the problem with them is that they are just so good. who can honestly turn down a wonderful donut or something along those lines
